Welcome to my new blog! This is going to be a blog concerning all things anime related. The shows, manga, conventions, figures, pictures, cosplay, culture, board games and any thing else I might think of. Anime has recently become a passion of mine and I would like to share this passion I have of anime with all of you.

Never heard of anime? No worries! I would like to write this blog for all people to show a little corner of my world and hope that you take this journey with me. I am definitely no expert but I would hope that you gain something from reading this and hope that those even more passionate then I am would gain something as well, if only for the joy of consuming content that you love.

And what is anime you ask? That is a good question. The word anime is short for animation. I would describe it as a word coming from Japanese culture that is usually fictional worlds created by artist, writers and creative minds to entertain and educate others. Genres can range from sitcoms, comedy, sports, fantasy, science fiction, drama, horror, cartoon and any other thing you can think of. Some of the more popular know anime’s are Pokemon, Yu-Gh-Oh!, One Piece, Naruto, Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon.

As in the title I have been watching anime for a long time. While I do think that many anime are geared towards younger adults, there are many anime that have strong themes and concepts for an older generation. I still feel like a kid at heart and will hope to enjoy anime for another 40 years or more.

After experiencing some of what life has to offer, I have accumulated many hobbies and interests along with many of the curve balls that come with it. I think it is kind of funny how anime has kept me grounded or maybe it is just obsessiveness over something that I find extremely entertaining. What most normal people would call a niche hobby. Well, I hope to show you some of that hobby and perhaps give you something entertaining and interesting to read as well.

I will hope to create content at least once a week and possibly more. I hope you all come and join me on this fantastical voyage of anime that I will be taking. Comment and let me know what you think.
